Duration: 10 hours

Price $225.00 per adult and $140.00 per child (up to 14 yo) in a group

Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world, its stretches over 123kms in length and 22kms at its widest point. It has a World Heritage listing and ranks as a precious part of Australia's natural and cultural heritage. The island is a place of exceptional beauty, with its long uninterrupted white beaches flanked by strikingly coloured sand cliffs and over 100 freshwater lakes.

Start you tour by heading across the Noosa River to Noosa Heads for your barge crossing to Wanggoolba Creek landing on Fraser Island. Walk along the banks of the creek, which flows gently and silently through lush rainforest, and then take an exciting 4WD along the famous Seventy-Five Mile Beach to see the coloured sands of the Pinnacles and the wreck of the cruise ship Maheno.

Take a swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake Mckenzie or Lake Birrabeen before enjoying a delicious “Aussie style' bush picnic lunch with welcome icy cold beer, wine and soft drinks (included). Visit a shipwreck of the SS Maheno - built in Scotland 1904 - a permanent fixture to the Northern Beach since 1935. Relax on its dazzling white beaches - a great way to spend a perfect day! Before returning to River Heads explore Central Station, a former forestry camp with huge scribby gums, brush box and great kauri trees.
